Large hairy basal leaves from which rise the stems carrying purplish blue flowers with a white throat. Perennial. Needs sun.

Blackcurrant scented foliage, flowers of a crushed raspberry shade from mid-summer to the frosts. Sunny well drained conditions, can be cut to the ground by frost but sprouts from the base.

Skyblue flowers in Autumn make this plant worth giving some care. Needs fertile not too dry soil and may need some protection in cold areas.
