Visitor Comments
Today I have had a thoroughly enjoyable morning on Vanessa'a Apple Pruning Course. As very much an
"amateur" I confess to feeling a little apprehensive but I soon felt relaxed in the lovely friendly
atmosphere and feel I have gained so much from the hands on experience. Much better doing it rather
than simply reading how to do it! - Sue Dalton
“I have just completed the two part growing vegetables
course and have thoroughly enjoyed it. The workshops are
very interactive and I came home buzzing with lots of very
useful information. Vanessa is a wonderful host and I would
highly recommend it for anyone who wants to get the most
out of their vegetable garden. “ Vicky Innocent
"I expected formality but it was much nicer, relaxed and
friendly with the dog as personal guide."
"Family field with swings and chicken runs – brilliant
touch."
"The garden has a wonderful natural feel, visually pleasing and environmentally excellent."
"Loved the many seats to sit and enjoy."
"Impressed with colour, texture and plants which are exciting in late summer."
“I did not expect this garden to be so beautiful and inspirational. I loved the surprises round each corner.”
“I really enjoyed the nursery as you can buy the plants you see in the garden.”
“There are such a wonderful variety of plants and the added attraction of poultry and bees.”
“All of the wildflowers in the meadow reminded me of childhood.”
“I didn't really know what to expect when I visited the garden but I thought it would be more
commercial. Instead it was charming and less formal.”
“We loved the front garden, the avenue, wildlife pond and bird song! There is so much interest
everywhere, it was well worth the long drive.”
“A perfect cottage garden designed beautifully to incorporate such a wide selection of plants.”
“I had been told the garden was lovely but it exceeded all expectations. My non-
gardening husband called it paradise.”
