Enjoy the Indian Summer

We are really enjoying an Indian summer and it is your last chance in 2016 to enjoy the garden here at Stillingfleet. This weekend (the 17th and 18th) is the last weekend that we are open this year, but you can still enjoy a visit on each Wednesday and Friday right through until the 30th September.

September in the garden is full of colour from the late flowering plants, foliage, fungi and the fruits and berries. An added bonus are the late flying butterflies, particularly red admirals and peacocks, that cover certain plants.

We have a splendid Art in the Cafe Exhibition this month and of course the nursery is still open. Autumn is an excellent time to plant pulmonaria and other spring flowering perennials.
