On the Shortlist for Welcome to Yorkshire White Rose Awards
We are absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted for the Ethical, Responsible and Sustainable Tourism category at the Welcome to Yorkshire White Rose Awards 2019.
We are one of just four businesses to have been shortlisted in this new award for 2019. It is lovely to be recognised for the hard work we have put in over the last 40 years to make Stillingfleet Lodge Garden and Nursery and ethical, responsible and sustainable business. The announcement that we had been shortlisted came just before our annual Wildlife Day when we celebrate the wildlife in the garden, illustrating just how much we have achieved in encouraging wildlife to the garden.
We will find out whether we have won at the awards ceremony on 25th November at the Leeds Direct Arena. This year’s ceremony will be the biggest event to date with 103 finalists having been nominated in 18 categories. We are very happy to be representing the York/Selby area in these County-wide awards.
