Monday 11th April – Have a Go at Rag Rugging Course.
Make your own seat pad using the proddy rag rugging technique in this day long practical beginners rag rugging course.
This is a new course for 2016 and will be led by Angela Gray of Ebor Ruggers. You will learn how to make a seat pad for a chair of your choice – just bring along the measurements on the day. The seat pad will be suitable for either an indoor or outdoor chair and the finished product is fully washable. The price of the course includes all materials and tools and, of course you can take your completed seat pad home.
Ebor Ruggers have been demonstrating their craft in the garden for the last couple of years and exhibited their work in the Cafe in 2015. Many of the visitors to the garden were keen to learn more, which is why we have organised this workshop.
